Pennsylvania households consume approximately 851 kWh per month on average. Using Duquesne Light's current rate of 10.85¢/kWh, the estimated monthly supply charge would be:

Monthly Bill = 851 kWh × 10.85¢/kWh ÷ 100 = $92.33

This calculation represents only the generation portion of your bill. Additional charges like delivery fees, taxes, and service fees will increase the total amount.

Competitive Supplier Rates vs. Duquesne Light Rates Per kWh

Pennsylvania's deregulated energy market allows customers to choose alternative suppliers that may offer lower rates than the utility's standard offer.

Current Duquesne Light energy rates can be compared with competitive supplier options:

For Duquesne Light customers, supplier rates as low as 8.99¢/kWh have been available, potentially providing savings compared to Duquesne Light's current Price to Compare1.
